Casa Alba is a six-bedroom villa in the gated Puerto Los Cabos community in San José del Cabo — a Mediterranean-inspired property where the name carries meaning: alba is dawn in both Italian and Spanish, and the white walls, light-filled interiors, and Sea of Cortez views from five of six bedrooms give the home a quality of light in the early morning that earns it. Twelve guests, six bedrooms, and a design in which the kitchen and bar were built in Italy, the furniture and lighting sourced from Europe, result in a property that reads differently from most others in the area.

The outdoor terrace holds a heated pool and jacuzzi, a 12-seat outdoor dining table with a Wolf gas grill and full outdoor kitchen sink, lounge chairs under large beach umbrellas, a shaded seating area, and a fire pit for evenings that don't end at dinner. A golf cart comes with the stay — useful for the five-minute ride to the Fundadores Beach Club, where an air-conditioned gym, poolside cocktail and smoothie service, and a restaurant serving stone-baked pizzas and tacos are available for a $200 weekly fee. Two golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman are within the community. Note: beach club access is not guaranteed during holiday periods.

Inside, the open-concept living and dining area slides fully open via floor-to-ceiling windows, letting the sea breeze through or keeping it sealed with zoned air conditioning — the choice is immediate. The circular dining table seats twelve. The kitchen has Bosch and Miele appliances, plus a walk-in pantry with a Samsung Smart fridge, Nespresso, air fryer, blender, and an ice-cream maker. A media room, foosball, and ping pong extend the entertainment program beyond the terrace. All six bedrooms have Alexa speakers, bedside charging stations, in-room safes, digital TVs, and crisp white linens with earthy-toned cushions and throws. Bedrooms 1, 3, and 5 have outdoor showers. The entertaining space, bedrooms 3, 4, and 5, and the pool and outdoor dining area are all wheelchair accessible.
