The owner nailed the mark when he set out to design this home to be a modern-day rendition of the camping trips that his family would spend on this very spot. Every weekend, his family which is as deeply rooted in San Jose del Cabo as the mango trees which shade the streets, would leave the “big city” and venture out the hard-scrabble road between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas, to this spot. This was their “magic spot”. There is something, they say, about the coast here that creates calm currents, lots of breeze, and an abundance of marine life. This was the best whale-watching spot, and they owned all the land for miles in each direction.
