On January 12, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that all air passengers entering the United States are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. Starting on January 26, 2021, air passengers are required to get a viral test (a test for current infection) within 72 hours of their departure flight to the United States and provide written documentation of their laboratory test result (paper or electronic copy) to the airline or provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19

Cabo Luxury has partnered with Dr. J Jovan Luna Carballo, Epidemiologist-Master in Public Health and General Manager of Cabo Medical Services, to offer safe, reliable and easy in-villa COVID-19 testing to our guests.

STEP 1 – Schedule your in-villa test with your personal concierge

Your personal concierge will facilitate the appointment for you and your guests.  Our provider requires the following information from each guest in order to make the appointment:

  • Full Name
  • Birth date
  • Place of birth
  • City of residence
  • Female/Male
  • Age
  • Do you have any Covid-19 symptoms?
  • Test needed (Antigen or PCR)

STEP 2 – Day of testing  

  • $50.00 USD per Antigen test (nasal swab) (Accepted for U.S. re-entry) Sufficient for U.S. travelers
  • $275.00 USD per PCR test (nasal swab) (Accepted for Canadian and U.S. re-entry)

Payment is accepted by cash, credit card or debit card at time of testing directly to provider.

Please note that prices above include delivery at your private villa.

STEP 3 – Get your results

  • Antigen test results in 1 to 2 hours
  • PCR test results in 24 to 48 hours

Results can be sent via WhatsApp or email to each individual guest or head of family.

If you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 3 months, your airline may accept proof of your positive test result and documentation stating that you have met the criteria to end isolation.  Please visit the CDC website for details and contact your healthcare provider.
